The short, honest kind.
Effective August 13, 2026Workflo is made and sold by Lucid Labs. These terms exist to be clear about what you're getting and where responsibility ends — not to trap anyone in fine print.
01Acceptance
By downloading, installing, or using Workflo ("the app"), you agree to these terms with Lucid Labs, the publisher of the app. If you don't agree, don't use the app — no hard feelings.
02License
Lucid Labs grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use Workflo on Macs you own or control, for personal or professional use. You may not redistribute the app as your own, sell it, or misrepresent its origin. That's the whole license.
03Purchases and refunds
Workflo has a 7-day free trial, so you can confirm it fits your setup before paying. If you buy and it still does not work out, email hello@getworkflo.app within 7 days of purchase for a full refund; together with the trial, that is two full weeks to evaluate. After that, refunds are at our discretion and generally limited to billing errors, duplicate purchases, or the app failing to run on a supported macOS version. A refund deactivates the license key. Purchases and refunds are processed by Polar, our merchant of record. Nothing here limits non-waivable statutory rights in your country of residence.
04The software, as it is
Workflo is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind — express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. Workspace automation and window management on macOS depend on system APIs and on how individual apps behave; we work hard to stage and restore every window faithfully, but we can't guarantee that every app will cooperate on every macOS release. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
05Updates
The app checks for updates via a signed update feed and installs them only after cryptographic verification on your Mac. You can turn automatic checks off in Settings. We may add, change, or remove features between versions.
06Your data
Your layouts, scenes, and rules are yours and stay on your Mac. How the app handles data is covered in the privacy policy, which is part of these terms.
07Feedback
If you send ideas or suggestions, we may use them to improve Workflo without restriction or payment — we would rather ship your idea than negotiate over it.
08Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lucid Labs is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the app — including lost work, misplaced windows, or anything that happens to data on your Mac. Our total liability for any claim is capped at the amount you paid for the app in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
09Termination
This license ends automatically if you materially breach these terms; you can end it any time by deleting the app. Sections that by nature survive — liability, disputes — survive.
10Third-party components
Workflo includes open-source software, notably the Sparkle update framework, used under its respective license. Acknowledgements ship inside the app.
11Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes go to the courts at New Delhi, India. If consumer law in your country gives you the right to bring a claim where you live, that right is unaffected.
12General
If part of these terms is unenforceable, the rest stands. These terms and the privacy policy are the entire agreement about the app; not enforcing a term is not a waiver of it.
13Changes to these terms
If these terms change, the effective date above changes with it, and material changes will be noted in the release notes of the version that ships them. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
